Tyler was a big-hearted young man we lost unexpectedly to suicide in April 2016.
After he died, literally dozens of people shared sorrowful stories about family members and friends struggling with emotional health issues, depression, or who tragically took their own lives.
It felt like an epidemic, but one that nobody talked about… until it was too late.
We founded the Tyler Moniz Project to celebrate Tyler's life by helping others facing health challenges, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Tyler Moniz Project creates spaces for conversations around mental health, and we support counseling and educational programs that promote emotional wellness, particularly for our youth. You can help us make a difference to the wellness of our community.
We would be grateful and humbled if you would please consider making a tax deductible gift to the TMP through our community's One Call For All campaign.
Stand by for the launch of our brand new website in the next few days, but in the meantime click to find the location of the benches we have already begun to place around Bainbridge Island to help promote healthy community conversations.
